OUR TEACHERS are college trained musicians.  They not only had to pass rigorous music exams including piano performance, singing and accompanying, improvisation, sight reading, music theory, and ear training to teach your child, but also had extensive training with Yamaha, and continue to attend updates to grow as a Yamaha instructor.  They not only need to be a well rounded musician in order to accommodate the uniquely creative students they'll be teaching as a Yamaha teacher, but they also need to be warm, fun-loving individuals, who really appreciate the advantages of starting children in music at a young age, and who enjoy the aspects of teaching music in a group setting. 

At Keyboard Music Works, you have a network of instructors, who all enjoy seeing each child grow into an inspiring musician.  We are better able to address each student's strengths and needs, with various teachers to choose from for each student's best progress in mind.  Some students work with each teacher for different needs (composition, improvisation, singing, competitions, overall skills, etc.).
